Monica O'Connor
Owner/Coach
Hi! I am one of the owners of Arcadia and have been coaching for over 38 years, 28 of them at Arcadia. I am married and have 2 amazing kids, Zach and Elissa, both young adults. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock and a Master's degree in Public Health (Epidemiology) from the University of Pittsburgh. I think we have the greatest kids at Arcadia and I love seeing my gym kids grow up into healthy and successful young adults who are capable of anything. In my free time I love to workout, read and be at the beach. I also love to scubadive and skydive.

I started at Arcadia as the "business guy" and quickly realized that I wanted to coach. I coach mostly tumbling and team and have been doing so for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Slippery Rock University. I am married and have 2 awesome kids, Dylan and Devyn. I love watching them play soccer and traveling with my family.
Mick O'Connor
Owner/Coach
Since we opened in 1996 I have coached every competitive level and many recreational classes. I have, more recently, focused on coaching and teaching our youngest athletes and students. It has been very rewarding to introduce the sport to kids and help them fall in love with this great sport. My background in sport science helps me in every aspect of coaching from training to injury prevention and care. I have a Bachelor's degree in Sport Science from Ohio University and a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. In my spare time I like to exercise, cook and travel with my family (Monica, Zach and Elissa) among many other interests.
Our Office Staff
Jessica Boso
Office Manager
I have been the office manager at Arcadia since 2011. I love seeing the excitement on the kids’ faces when they enter for class or leave, having just acquired a new skill! I have had the privilege of watching so many talented little girls blossom into beautiful, kind, well-rounded young ladies over the years. I have an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor’s in Human Services from Geneva College. At my full-time day job, I am a case manager for youth with disabilities.
I have three beautiful daughters, two of whom graduated from our competitive gymnastics team and one whose passion is hockey. I also love animals and spending time at home with my two dogs and my cat.
I love our Arcadia family and the safe, positive, loving environment they provide for all the kids who walk through the doors.

I have been a part-time secretary at Tumbleweeds for 6 years. I have a daughter, Angie, who was a competitive gymnast at Arcadia for 10 years. I love talking to parents about how much their child can grow and learn through the sport of gymnastics!
My favorite thing to do is to go trail riding on horseback.

I have been a part-time secretary at Tumbleweeds/Arcadia for 21 years. I have an Associate’s Degree in Business from Geneva College. I also work full-time as a secretary at Beaver Falls High School. My favorite moments are spent with my children and grandchildren.
I started working at Tumbleweeds as a part-time job while my husband was laid off, and 21 years later, I’m still at it! I love working here—talking to parents, interacting with the kids,, helping families find the class that suits them and their schedule; and the best part is, it doesn’t feel like work! 😊

My daughter is on the competitive team and I help out at the front desk. I love getting to interact with the kids and watch them grow and have fun! I currently hold a BA in Early Education and love spending time with my family and two adorable little dogs.
Our Coaching Staff
Bob Blanchette
Coach
Coaching 1987- present.
We love Arcadia. With over 100 years of coaching experience on staff, who wouldn't want to be here? Positive staff with values that are important to today's families. I like coaching because of the challenges it brings. At every level, all are progressing. Being able to appreciate the small things comes quickly as a coach.
I love the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates. Fast and old cars, golfing and being with my family and friends.
Brian St. Denis
Coach
I've been coaching gymnastics for many years and I love seeing the kids have so much fun while learning so many different things along their journey here with us. I enjoy being a part of Arcadia Gymnastics!
Lauren Hunt
Coach
This is my third year coaching at Arcadia but it’s not my first time here. When I was younger my gym came to Arcadia’s meet and I met Dominque Moceanu! I’m surrounded by incredible teachers, staff and students alike. When I’m not at the gym coaching, I’m at the gym as a student. Stop by! I live with a French Bulldog, Caesar, as well! He is four and a half and loves to cuddle. I’m eager to continue learning from everyone here!
Emily Cochran
Preschool/Rec Coach
I have been a gymnast at Arcadia for 7 years and currently compete as an XCel Platinum on the competitive team; and have been helping teach classes for 3 years. After graduation, I plan to attend college and become an elementary school teacher. I love to share and teach something that I am passionate about. I also like to see how the kids develop and grow in our program.
Alesa Lincheck
Preschool / Rec Coach
I have been at Arcadia for pretty much my whole life, have been on the competitive team for 9 years, and coaching for two years. I am currently in high school and plan to attend college for architecture. I love working with kids and absolutely love the sport of gymnastics, so here I get to help kids love the sport like I do and give them advice so they can be the best gymnast they can be!
Paige Drake
Coach
I am a recreational and team coach. I participated at Arcadia during my whole childhood and now love coaching here! I saw lots of success as an Arcadia gymnast, being named the floor State Champion 3 years, and scoring a perfect 10 on floor once! I also run track and have competed at the State championships there. Since I can't compete anymore and Arcadia is like family to me, I am excited to teach others to love the sport that I love as much as I do. In my free time I like to run, shop, and hang out with my friends.
Caitlin Hutchison
Preschool / Rec Coach
I am currently finishing my first season as a preschool coach assistant and party coach. I have two years of dance and three years of cheer background. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and currently work in a preschool. I love being able to show new skills to help kids learn and develop, and love watching them learn new things and develop new skills.
Melissa Yingling
Recreational Coach
I was a gymnast at Arcadia when I was a child then started back when the adult class was created. That kick started me into teaching ninja classes 2 years ago and I love it. I have a BS in Computer Science and Measurements are approximatey in Information Systems Management. I love to read, relax in my hammock, spend time with my boyfriend and dog and bake cupcakes and custom cakes. I love kids and seeing the excitement on their faces when they accomplish a new skill.
Nikki DeLuca
Coach
I was a gymnast for 12 years and hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Sports Medicine. I have coached pre-school, school-aged gymnastics, and the competitive team at Arcadia for roughly 18 years and elsewhere for 12 years. I have coached in several gyms and Arcadia has been the most professional and positive coaching environment. Our athletes are the hardest working and most well-rounded gymnasts. Arcadia has always provided a positive, safe environment with top-tier coaches.
